Can you come to me for my headshot/branding session?

Headshot and personal branding sessions are bespoke to you so we can speak on the phone beforehand and decide on the best location depending on your requirements.

I can come to you if you are a reasonable distance away, or alternatively you can come to me in Penshurst (near Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells).

I don’t have a studio but I do have a large garden so it’s great for outdoor headshots. If you would prefer to have your photos indoors, I can suggest some other possible locations.

What should I wear for my headshot/branding session?

It’s definitely worth putting some thought into what to wear for your headshot or personal branding session. It’s important to choose clothes that suit you but also that you feel comfortable in.

You might want to consider your brand colours too if you are planning to use the photos on your website and alongside your logo for example.

Also take into account the season whether spring/summer or autumn/winter. I will send you some tips on what to wear in advance and can help answer any questions when we speak on the phone.

Can I bring more than one outfit?

Yes it’s a good idea to bring a couple of options for your upper half and a perhaps some different accessories so that we can try a few different looks throughout your session.

Can I have my hair and make up done before my session?

Yes you can. If you would like your hair and make up done professionally then I can recommend a local make up artist who I work with regularly, Deborah from Hall of Fame Styling. She will travel to our chosen location.

Should I bring any props or other items?

Yes you could perhaps bring a laptop or notebook and pen. We can incorporate other props depending on your business. Again, we can discuss any ideas in advance so that you know what to bring and feel prepared.

Help! I always feel uncomfortable having my photo taken!

I think almost everyone feels this way so don’t worry as this is completely normal! Most people start to relax as soon as we start shooting. There’s lot’s of chatting to help you forget about the camera and we can always take a break and have a coffee half way through. Most people find it an enjoyable experience in the end!

Can I buy the digital images afterwards?

Yes, the headshot package includes 5 edited high resolution images (with the option to purchase more if you wish). The personal branding package includes 25 high resolution images so is a really good value option. Again, you can purchase more images afterwards if you would like to.
